11 Questions to Ask Yourself if You Want to Start a Spiritual Business…

As host of a popular Internet radio show for over half a decade, I have spoken to many people who have the dream of utilizing their own special gifts to build a spiritual business of their own. In addition to hosting the Angelic Realms Radio Show (formerly the Angels Monday Show), I’m also blessed to be a cofounder of a successful and emergent organization, the International Association of Angel Practitioners (IAAP).

The IAAP was formed to educate and support spiritual professionals around the globe. The IAAP offers spiritual entrepreneurs the opportunity to network with other spiritually minded professionals. We offer them a platform with which to develop and promote their own products and services. We foster life-long learning practices for their continued growth and success in an ever-changing world.

After thoughtful consideration of the tenets of business success, I have developed the following list of questions that you should ask yourself if you are contemplating the idea of starting your own spiritual business:

  1. What do I love to do?
  2. What skills and abilities do I have?
  3. What service could I provide that others would find valuable?
  4. Do I need more training and where can I get it at a price that is affordable for me?
  5. Who/where is my target market and how will they know I have the products or services they need?
  6. Where can I perform my work?
  7. How much will it cost to get my business started?
  8. How much time will I need to commit to my work?
  9. Can I afford to leave my current job or do I need to keep it?
  10. How can I bring the angels into my current line of work?
  11. Who can I network with for technical support, moral support, as well as assistance in promoting my products and/or services?

Taking the time to write out thoughtful and complete answers to the questions above will give you a good idea of how close you are to turning your dream into a reality. It will also highlight the areas that require more of your immediate attention. Focus on these areas. Set clear-cut and practical goals for yourself that will allow you to take the next steps towards seeing your dream of spiritual entrepreneurship take form.
