Self-love cannot be found in our home in the cold basement of the ego- mind. No wonder why loving ourselves is so difficult. For every nice thought or kind affirmation, the ego-child has something to refute our loving claims.

The ego keeps highlighting the same faults and complaints it has of you. It is the best button -pusher, knowing you so intimately, it knows exactly how to tear down your attempts at liking yourself.

Attempts at self-love can work for a while until the ego grabs onto the weakness- the flaw it sees and hand- delivers it to you at your most vulnerable moment, making its debut explosive. So is it not possible to love the human self? Yes, it is possible.

Past the basement mind of the ego, in a different room of you, there is your soul- your essence that is love. When we walk into this room we know who we are and feel the most beautiful unconditional love for ourselves and every living thing in this world. There is no need for affirmations or accomplishments you are in the presence of your love.

You have felt this love before for a moment or two through your relationships with your children, friends, spouses, partners, animals, creative passions- unfortunately when the ego comes in it dilutes and blocks us from feeling the wholeness of this love.

Our mission, our goal is to keep going to the upper rooms where our soul-essence lives; moving from the ego-mind to the soul-heart. In this living space, you don’t have to try to love yourself; you know you are love. In these rooms, you can take refuge and heal as you experience the wisdom of universal truths.

Here through the warmth shining through each window, you know you are love and loved. In this love comes confidence that the ego never takes away. In this loving space, we find new stability and peace within the same home.

We have the choice in our home to stay in the cold basement of the ego filled with complaints, negativity, and criticism of you or to go upstairs into the living area furnished with love and light. What part of the home are you living in and how long do you stay there?
