You verses The Ego!
We can never win with the ego mind. Even when there is evidence to prove it wrong, it will bring up one perfect reason why you should still not feel good about yourself.
You got an award at work; you can drink in the good feeling for a short while until the ego mind chimes in with -“If they knew how you cut corners, this award would not be yours.”
What do we do with this critical, overprotective, over-thinking mind? We can see by now that we can never win the argument and never feel settled with the ego’s comments. We can sidestep the ego by engaging with it less, talking with it less, and forget trying to win it over or please it
.
Sidestep to freedom- out of mind and into your loving, wise Self. There is no argument for your worth -you feel worthy, and there is no feeling bad for inadequacies because you feel your perfection right within the loving, beautiful being of YOU.
