A thought can be like an ember; if we feed it with our agreement, a fire can break out, moving us into over-thinking and over-identifying with this thought and many other like thoughts to follow.
We are not our thoughts when we move away from engaging with them; what are we left with?
We are left in our being, being present and free from the pain of thinking and evaluating the self. Here the fire in the mind is finally out.
